Service Summary: Existing Industry Services offers infrastructure assistance (Tennessee Industrial Infrastructure Program or TIIP) for water and sewer lines and rail line extensions. Site preparation, in some cases is allowed under the TIIP program. The Department of Economic and Community Development offers industrial training programs and administers a below-prime rate loan program for fixed asset financing (land, building, machinery) in non-metro areas under the Community Development Block Grant program.
Requirements for Program: For infrastructure assistance and training, a company must create 25 or more new jobs and/or expand its facilities. Fixed income financing is not available with the Chattanooga city limits.
